Two Obituaries

Last week two of our close friends checked out from this crazy circus we call World today in a span of 3 days...

Avigail Nasutuvitz 1994 - 2020

Avigail and Jonathan met in high school and fell in Love from the first sight. It was an amazing story and We are glad we were their friends.

They got married right after school and a year later their cute daughter Eva was born.

Avigail was a Gymnast at that time hoping to participate in 2016 Olympics. But the timing wasn't right since Jonathan went to Army and was send to Iraq from which He never returned...

2 weeks before His death he sent the last letter to his wife asking Her to follow Her dreams of becoming the Olympic Gold Medalist no matter what happens. That was his last, dying wish...

Tokyo 2020 was 4 years away and Avigail promised Eva that she will make an Olympic Team and bring gold home as Her Father wished.

She took a second mortgage on their home to have money for trainers and the baby. She subjected all her Life towards that one Goal. 6 hours a day, 6 days a week She trained, slept, ate and trained again. 2020 Olympics became Her Life and Obsession. She had to do it for Herself and to honor Her late husband who died for this Country. Many times Eva stayed with her friends for days whenever Avigail had to go for a training camp. But finally the day arrived: She qualified first for an American Olympic Team! She made it! She was one huge step closer to the Dream. And then...

“2020 Tokyo Olympic Games are “postponed””

Her house was gone. Thousands of hours spent training were gone. Her motivation, her faith, her Dream were gone.

She committed suicide 2 weeks ago and Eva has been with foster parents ever since.

Moshe Iocustein 1990-2020

Another Friend of ours. He was a young, amazing piano player. Came from nothing and by playing in bars, restaurants and hotels he paid for his education himself. He had a Dream as well: to play and win Chopin Competition which takes place every 5 years. All 23 years of Moshe practising the piano should lead to that Goal. 5 years ago he set his eyes on 2020 competition and rearrange his life towards that one Goal. It cost him his boyfriend who left him after few months under the pressure of everyday's struggle. But Moshe didn't give up and qualified as one of the best and most promising contenders.

Well... 2020 Chopin Competition has been postponed...

When our Lords and Saviors locked us in in a house arrest, Moshe lost all his jobs since every bar, restaurant, hotel were closed. After over two months of ZERO income, bills piling up and the thought of the last 5(!) years of personal sacrifices going down the drain He killed himself at the beginning of May...

We shouldn't even comment on those stories but let's see if Andrew “even if one life is saved” Cuomo will have something to say about it.
